The Kanifing Magistrate Court has ordered Gambia’s serial fraudster and scammer Wally Ndow to pay Alieu Jallow more than 736,000 Dalasis for fraud, theft, breach of contract, legal fees, and cost. Citing section7, subsection 1 of the Subordinate Courts civil proceedings act; and using a prior Gambia Court of Appeal ruling as precedent, the ruling magistrate made the order on 31 May 20201 to Criminal Wally Ndow’s dismay ordering him to pay Mr. Jallow the global sum plus 24% interest from day of filing of the case and 5% interest until liquidation. Wally Ndow uses his sham construction company, the so-called criminal enterprise called Ndowen Consult, to steal from and defraud unsuspecting Gambians out of millions of dalasis. The ruling came at a surprise to him because he thought that his marabouts will render the magistrate unable to rule against him. Wally Ndow is a familiar name in Gambia’s criminal justice system, every police station and all the courts at Kanifing have an active case proceeding against him. In New Jeshwang, the easiest way to find Wally Ndow is by asking for Wally Ndow “tapalekatbi” meaning Wally Ndow the fraudster.
Since this ruling against him, Wally Ndow, being the cunning criminal he is, has been manipulating the court system to delay paying the judgement amount ordered by the court. When he learned that the bailiff were on their way to execute the judgement on him, Wally Ndow rushed to the courts and filed a stay of execution motion and promised to pay monthly installments of 5000 to Mr. Jallow. When the motion came up for hearing two weeks ago, neither Wally Ndow nor his lawyer showed up in court. As a result, the magistrate struck out Wally Ndow’s motion for stay of execution. Now that the magistrate has signed another order authorizing the bailiff section of the magistrate court to seize Wally Ndow’s assets even though he does not have any, this cunning criminal again rushed to the court and filed another motion promising to pay 15,000 per mount, we are waiting on the hearing date of this motion to come up. Promising to pay 15,000 out of a judgement of 736,000 is an insult to the court because even the interest on this judgement alome is more than 15,000. NWhat is important for me is that we have a judgement and a court order ordering Wally Ndow to pay, he can continue to play his games all he wants, all his trickery will come back to bit him in his ass and we will not be relentless in our pursuit of justice against this bastard until the day he does to his grave.
Wally Ndow has proven time and again that he is a serial fraudster, scammer, thief, and liar. He betrayed my trust and defrauded me, stole my building materials, used cheap materials on the little part he built on my land, and then lied to me over and repeatedly. Wally Ndow did the same to Mr. Alieu Fall, a gentleman who is old enough to be his father. Wally Ndow defrauded Yaya Jammeh of Seattle, a class mate of his, out of more than 700,000 dalasis. Fatou Secka, also a former classmate of Wally Ndow, worked months while pregnant and saved money to build a house for her mother in Gambia, she contracted Wally Ndow for the construction, and he defrauded Ms. Secka and stole her building materials. Papis Mbowe, whose house Wally Ndow was shamelessly taking photos of and posting on his Facebook page and falsely claiming he built that house, still has more than 40,000 dalasis owed by Wally Ndow. A Gambian residing in Sweden who was also defrauded in the same construction scheme by Wally Ndow also had his building materials including basalt trips stolen by Wally Ndow.
The list of Gambians defrauded by Wally Ndow is endless, yet this criminal still walks free in the streets of Kombo instead of being locked up in Mile two for decades. There are laws in Gambia’s criminal code which can be used to easily prosecute Wally Ndow and sentence him for decades in prison. Obtaining money by false pretense, fraud, theft, are just some of the economic crimes for which Wally Ndow can be prosecuted, there is a serious crimes unit and a fraud squad in the Gambia Police Force, but they have woefully failed to prosecute Wally Ndow when petty thieves are being locked up in Mile two for stealing cell phones.
One thing all of us victims of Wally Ndow’s fraud have in common is that we trusted a Gambian with our hard-earned money, not knowing the kind of cunning criminal Wally Ndow is because all the other victims Wally Ndow defrauded never came out instead they decided to keep it quiet because they do not wish to be heard exposing this shameless criminal Wally Ndow. But Allah has been on our side and we have all continued to prosper, we are working honest jobs and earning honest pay and we all have descent lives supporting our families honestly. This is one thing Wally Ndow will never have in his sorry pathetic life. Every time you see this little black monkey, he is running and toiling under the scotching hot Gambian sun doing what he does best: stealing, lying, defrauding, scamming, and cheating other hard working descent Gambians. I wonder how he look at his wife and children in the face knowing fully well that the money he uses to feed them with is stolen from other descent hard working Gambians. Wally Ndow has no shame, he believes he can steal, lie, scam, cheat and get away with it. Wally Ndow’s heart boils with anger and envy every time he sees a worthy Gambian fly home with tens of thousands of Dollars to buy lands and build mansions when Wally Ndow is still living in a family compound with his ugly wife and illegitimate kids. I have never known a Gambian as deceitful, and cunning as Wally Ndow. Gambians are not known for this type of criminality; I wonder where Wally Ndow inherited his criminal traits from. But as the saying goes, like father like son. I also wonder what Wally Ndow’s kids will grow up to be, we do not need this type of family in Gambia.
When we contacted the Standard newspaper and foroyaa to tell our story and expose this despicable animal, Wally Ndow went to the reporter begging and crying for them not to write the story, he even went as far as offering the reporter a bribe to try and kill the story.
If you are a Gambian and thinking of contracting Wally Ndow to build you a house because you saw his facebook postings bragging about building this house and that, safe yourself the trouble and cancel that decision because everything Wally Ndow told you is a lie and everything you saw in his facebook postings are lies, he did not build any of those houses you see in his facebook page. If you already contracted Wally Ndow, then it’s too late for you and the best thing you can do for yourself is to cancel that contract just like I, and Yaya Jammeh, Fatou Secka, Alieu Fall and all other victims of Wally Ndow did.
If you have been defrauded by Wally Ndow, stop doing the “sutura” nonsense and come out and expose this criminal, and then sue him in the Gambian courts for everything you can. Let us make this serial fraudster a destitute and send him to mile two where he belongs.
