As promised, our sources on the ground have been gathering documentary evidence in regards to the state hired Lead Counsel to the Janneh Commission Amie Drammeh Bensouda, and her association with the exiled Gambian dictator Yahya Jammeh. In this latest dispatch, we hereby report to the Gambian community, and the world at large that the Lead Counsel was not only collaborating with dictator Jammeh in his growing thirst for land scavenging, she also facilitated the sale of her clients land to the Kanilai Family Farms, a bogus company belonging to Yahya Jammeh. Kanilai Family Farms is among Jammeh’s frozen assets by the Gambian State. The Janneh Commission has also issued a temporal order depriving Jammeh from moving or transferring companies associated with him, such as the Kanilai Family Farms. Acting as a lawyer for the Samba family, Mrs. Bensouda sold a property belonging to the Samba family situated at Buckle street in Banjul to dictator Jammeh’s Kanilai Farms. The property was sold for over four million dalasi (D 4 Million dalasis). She prepared the memorandum of sale to the said property. Keep in mind that the Kanilai Family Farms is under investigations before the Janneh Commission. She is the Lead Counsel tasked to investigate and grill witnesses in regards to properties that Jammeh had allegedly illegally acquired through his Kanilai Family Farms company while in office. Interestingly, Lead Counsel Bensouda even negotiated for the sale of Dr. Samba’s family property in Banjul. She is already compromised in view of the damning documents published today. Was listening to your show yesterday night regarding the Janneh Commission and wanted to bring this agreement to you attention and a receipt showing Amie Bensouda receiving money from Jammeh. Did she ask Jallow Kanilai where the fund came from ?? No she quickly did the deal and chopped her commission from the deal.
This proves that Amie Bensouda was selling as an agent for Dr Samba to Jammeh. In this case, she acted as the agent, the lawyer and the receiver. I leave it to your readers to make their own assessment of the morality of this transaction. The documents clearly speak for themselves.
